Educational psychology is concerned with how students learn and develop.
The psychologist consults with all those involved in the education of the student where appropriate and then normally carries out an assessment to determine how the student/person can be helped.
Assessments are carried out at our bright office in Gorey, Co. Wexford, in schools or at other pre-agreed locations.
Assessments help to identify a student's particular learning style which makes it easier to support the student's educational and psychological development .
The assessment can support the client in his/her educational setting to ensure a greater opportunity for success working alongside his/ her educators.
Assessments and reports are often required for clients involved in a therapeutic process; or those who are transferring to 3rd level through the DARE application route ; or for seeking resources in differing educational settings.
